The Play That Goes Wrong

The Play That Goes Wrong, written by Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields and Henry Lewis for the Mischief Theater Company, was an absolute joy to stage in the CalArts Coffeehouse Theater. Centering on a British community theater company trying their hardest to get through a 1920’s murder mystery, this show was full of hijinks, slapstick comedy and difficult technical effect. Truly, some of the most fun I’ve ever had designing and participating in a show and I’m still sad to see it end.
