PS #1: It’ll Be What It Wants To Be

It’ll Be What It Wants To Be was my CalArts curricular project. The show was a series of improvisational comedy skits developed by our actors. The framework and participants for each skit was set, but the subject matter would change every night. For example a QVC sketch that was hosted by two set actors with the rest of the team able to participate as needed, or a film noir scene of an innocuous CalArts crime. My personal favorite was the fashion show, where the actors took pieces I chose and styled them based on a theme. Overall, this show was such fun and taught me so much about designing costumes for comedy and improv.
